Body Movements is committed to making the festival as accessible and inclusive as possible.
We recognise that everyone has different access requirements and aim to provide appropriate support to help as many people as possible enjoy the festival safely and comfortably.

NEW PROCESS FOR 2027 – ACCESSIBILITY & PA TICKET REQUESTS
For 2027, we are introducing a dedicated Accessibility Request Form to make requesting accessibility support clearer and more efficient.
The form will open in advance of the 2027 festival, with requests being processed from 1 May through to 31 July 2027.
The form is not intended to make accessing support more difficult or create additional barriers, but it allows us to gather information upfront so we can respond efficiently, ensure the necessary support provisions are in place, and ensure attendees receive all the information they need ahead of the festival.

PA/Companion Tickets
Complimentary PA/companion tickets are available (subject to availability) for ticket holders who may require the support of another person to attend the festival.
If you require a PA/companion ticket, please submit your request through the Accessibility Request Form – the deadline for requests is 31st July 2027. This gives our team enough time to review and process requests and ensure your PA Tickets are sent out ahead of the festival.
As part of the application, you will be asked to provide:
Supporting documentation to confirm eligibility, such as a photo of your Access Card/Nimbus card, or disability/ accessibility documentation, or other relevant evidence demonstrating your need for support

2. Resident Advisor (RA) ticket number with Proof of purchase – tickets must have been purchased directly through Resident Advisor; third-party reseller proof of purchase will not be accepted
3. PA/companion name
4. PA/companion email address
This is not an assessment of whether you have a disability. We request supporting documentation solely to confirm eligibility for a complimentary PA/companion ticket.
Please only provide information relevant to your request; detailed medical records are not required. We will handle any accessibility information you provide confidentially and use it only to process your PA/companion ticket request.
Please note: PA tickets are not automatically issued when you submit a request. Our Access Team will contact you to confirm when a PA ticket has been allocated, along with answers to any noted queries and any additional information that may be useful or relevant.
Requests received after 31 July 2027 cannot be guaranteed and will only be considered where possible.
If your circumstances change after the deadline and you subsequently require a PA, please contact the Access Team as soon as possible. We will always do our best to consider late requests, but we cannot guarantee a PA ticket.
The 31st July deadline applies specifically to PA ticket requests. If you have other accessibility requirements that arise or change after this date, please contact the Access Team, and we will be happy to discuss how we can support you. Please allow 30 days for a response to access emails. Most questions can be answered in our FAQ section.

Venue Description
Body Movements will take place in Southwark Park, London.
The site has step-free access.
The site is approximately 0.07 km2
The festival site is located in the north area of Southwark Park, near the Bowl Club and Bandstand.
The site is grass and flat, with hard-standing paths throughout, including along the perimeter of the festival site.
VIEWING PLATFORMS
There is a viewing platform at the mother main stage + dedicated viewing areas at the snatch + the strap stages. The two smaller stages (Glory Hole + Hot Mess) have no viewing platforms.
Access to viewing platforms and dedicated viewing areas is managed via wristbands to ensure that these spaces remain available for attendees who require them. If you require access to a viewing platform, please indicate this when completing the Accessibility Request Form, and we will provide you with further information on how and where you can collect wristbands.
ACCESSIBLE TOILETS
Accessible toilets are available across the festival site. We will highlight positions on our maps, which we will share on socials in the lead-up to the show, and they are also available on request from our access team.
As the festival site is temporary, we will confirm toilet access codes closer to the event. Where possible, we will provide this information in advance, but you can also obtain codes from the Access Team, Welfare Team, or Security Team on the day.
PRIORITY SERVICE
Priority service is available for attendees who require this as an accessibility adjustment.
If you require priority service at bars or food traders, please indicate this on your Accessibility Request Form so we can provide information on how this will operate at the festival.
LOCATION & PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The festival entrance is at the northeast corner of the park, postcode SE16 2FD.
The taxi drop-off point is 0.3 miles from the entrance, at Carriage Drive, SE16 2ET

Bermondsey (0.4 miles to entrance, 0.7 miles from exit)
Rotherhithe (0.7 miles to entrance, 0.7 miles from exit)
Canada Water (0.5 miles to entrance, 0.3 miles from exit)

The nearest bus stops to the exit of the festival are: Hothfield Place Stop P and Surrey Quays Road Stop Y.
ARRIVAL GUIDE
The site will be open on Sunday 29 August 2027 from 12:00–22:30.
The busiest arrival period is expected to be between 13:00 and 14:30, so if you would prefer to avoid larger crowds, we recommend arriving outside these times where possible.
The venue is accessible from the road via a hard-surface path, with a dedicated wide-entry lane available at the main entrance.
The event site will be clearly signposted, and local stewards will be available to direct you to the entrance.
When you arrive, please go to the main entrance, where our stewards will be on hand to assist and direct you as needed.
If you have accessibility requirements or would benefit from additional assistance entering the site, please contact our Access Team in advance where possible. You can also speak to a member of the team at the entrance, who will be able to advise on the assistance available and, where possible, assist with entry to the site.
MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS
Medication, including food medically required for managing a condition, is permitted on site.
Where possible, please bring medication in its original packaging, such as blister packs or packaging with dispensing labels, and bring supporting documentation such as prescriptions where available and/or required.
If you are bringing controlled prescription medication onto site, you must be able to provide evidence of the prescription and matching ID if requested.
If you need to bring medication, medical equipment, or medically required food or drink onto site, please contact our Access Team in advance so that we can provide any relevant guidance and help ensure a smooth arrival on site.
If your medication requires refrigeration or specialist storage, please contact the Access Team in advance so we can advise on the arrangements available and, where possible, ensure it can be stored appropriately.
We believe everyone should be able to manage their sexual health without fear or compromise. Sexual health medication is permitted without question and does not require matching ID. Where possible, please bring this in its original packaging.
An on-site Welfare Team and paramedics will be available throughout the festival to provide support, whether you need a break from the festival environment or require medical assistance.
SEATING & MOBILITY AIDS
We recognise that the festival site may not be suitable for everyone and that seating available around the site is limited.
Mobility aids are welcome and permitted on site. If you can’t stand for extended periods due to accessibility requirements, you are also welcome to bring a camping or folding chair.
If you are unsure whether a particular mobility aid, chair, or other equipment can be brought onto site, please contact the Access Team before the festival, and we’ll be happy to advise.
ACCESS TO PERFORMANCE
There are currently no services such as hearing loops, infrared or MobileConnect systems available at the festival.
If you have a specific hearing or communication access requirement, please contact the Access Team in advance to discuss your requirements.
ASSISTANCE DOGS
Assistance dogs are welcome at Body Movements.
Please contact the Access Team in advance if you intend to bring an assistance dog so that we are aware and can provide any relevant information.
We may ask for information confirming that your dog is appropriately trained as an assistance dog.
There will be an appropriate area for assistance dogs to relieve themselves.
STROBE LIGHTING + NOISE
There is strobe lighting at the event.
This is a queer rave, so it is very loud with limited quiet space.
BARS & FOOD TRADERS
The event has three main bars.
All bars have large-print menus and lowered access points.
If you have a specific dietary requirement, please speak directly with the relevant food trader.
If you need to bring food onto site for medical reasons, please contact our team.
EMERGENCIES & EVACUATION
Festival staff, including SIA Security, stewards and the event management team, will be briefed to work with attendees with access requirements in the event of a site evacuation.
If you have an access requirement that may affect your ability to evacuate the site independently, please include this information on your Accessibility Request Form or contact our team to let us know.
The event management team will work with attendees to provide appropriate assistance should any other access-related issues arise while on site.
